The aims & objectives of the Rochdale Bangladeshi Partnership Project are:

(a)    To raise funds in the UK for projects and initiatives in Rochdale & Sylhet which will help relieve poverty, and reduce inequalities in health, education and social care.  And promote community cohesion as well as support the advancement of educational, environmental and health related programmes;

(b)   To provide educational & cultural programmes and opportunities for learning for people of the borough of Rochdale and Sylhet by way of advancement of Arts, Culture and heritage.  Particularly the history of Bangladesh and the people of Bangladeshi heritage living in the Borough of Rochdale;

(c)    To share good practice and promote Public sector governance between Rochdale Borough Council and Sylhet City Corporation.

(d) To promote or support such other activities as may further the aims of the Organisation.
